What it does. A note puts something on your calendar that isn’t a booking. It blocks out the day so you can see it when you check whether you’re free. A note never becomes an event, an invoice, or a client.
When you’d use it. The plumber is coming Thursday morning and someone has to be there. Or the walk-in is being serviced, or you’re closed for the holiday, or the whole team meets at nine on Mondays.
How to add one
- Open the Calendar.
- Click Add note in the top right.
- Enter a Title. This is what you’ll see on the calendar, so make it the thing you’d want to read in a hurry, like “Equipment delivery”.
- Set the Date and Start time. They open on today’s date at 12:00.
- Set the end. Leave it on Duration and pick 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, or 8 hours, or switch to Custom end time and type an exact time.
- Add a Description if there’s anything the note itself doesn’t say, like who’s coming or what they need access to.
- Click Save.
What you’ll see. The note lands on that day in gray, alongside the events already on it. It shows the time range, a Note tag, the title, and the description underneath.
Changing or removing a note
Click the note on the calendar to change any of its details, or click Delete note to remove it.
Good to know.
- Title, date, and start time are required. The description is optional.
- A note lives on the calendar and nowhere else. It carries no client, no price, and no guest count.
